This high performance stock was designed by Major John Plaster (US Army, Retired). He is considered by many to be one of the world's top authorities on long range, highly accurate shooting. He is also an instructor.

Here are some dimensions that might help you identify your receiver length. These are the distances between the two receiver screws: Savage short action 4.275 or 4.411, long action 5.062
This stock is for 4.275 inch hole axis spacing only.
(MEASURE YOUR HOLE SPACING BEFORE YOU ORDER A STOCK)
If you have the new Savage Centerfeed Model 10, the receiver screw holes will be 4.411 inches apart, and you can only use the 240603 "Centerfeed" Varmint Ultimate stock. There is no Sniper stock to fit this model yet. This stock is for 4.275 inch hole axis spacing only.
