Here are some dimensions that might help you identify your receiver length. These are the distances between the two receiver screws: Savage short action 4.275 or 4.411, long action 5.062 This stock is for 4.275 inch hole axis spacing only. (MEASURE YOUR HOLE SPACING BEFORE YOU ORDER A STOCK) If you have the new Savage Centerfeed Model 10, the receiver screw holes will be 4.411 inches apart, and you must use the 220615 "Centerfeed" Sniper Ultimate stock. This stock is for 4.275 inch hole axis spacing only. There will be an 3/16 gap under the safety on all the Savage Varmint, Tactical and Sniper stocks. The action should only touch on the V of the bedding block and back of the recoil lug.
