SKS Recoil Compensator by Choate
This compensator eliminates most of the muzzle rise when firing. It is precision machined out of 4140 tool steel and acid bath blued. Attachment to the barrel is straightforward and it can be removed with ease. The compensator slides down over the barrel until it seats on an internal counterbore step in the compensator and against the front sight. The 2 15/16 long blued screw goes through a hole in the outboard boss which is part of the compensator, at the muzzle end. The screw then goes through the cleaning rod hole in the bayonet lug and is fastened in place with a vibration-proof self clinching nut. The screw and nut are supplied.
