Choate Mark 6 Shotgun Stock for Remington 870 Assembly instructions

1- Remove wooden stock from receiver.

2- Mount the stock to the receiver using the 1/4" by 5-1/2" bolt and washer supplied with the stock.  You will not have to install the metal face, which is normally in between the stock and the back of the receiver.

3-You can adjust the pressure on the sides of the shells by tightening or loosening the Phillips head screws on the right side of the shell holder holes. These screws compress rubber washers, which protrude slightly into the shell hole. You should adjust the tightening screws only to the degree at which you can remove the shells easily.

CAUTION- Only put a reasonable amount of pressure on the tension screws. Do not over-tighten. You will strip the thread holes if you over tighten.

4-The trigger pull is adjustable- you can remove the spacers under the rubber buttpad, or you can add spacers in 1/4", 1/2" and 3/4" thickness.Additional spacers can be purchased from CombatStocks
