Assembly Instructions for SHOTFORCE Buttstock with Buttpad (Mossberg 500/590, Remington 870, Winchester 1200/1300, Maverick 88 and Norinco 98 Shotguns)

MAKE SURE YOUR SHOTGUN IS UNLOADED BEFORE STARTING!

STEP 1
Remove the existing recoil pad from your shotgun stock by unscrewing the two (2) Phillips head screws in the rear of the pad.
STEP 2
Use a long flat blade screwdriver or appropriate socket with extension to remove the stock bolt from the inside of the opening in the rear of the stock.
STEP 3
Select the adapter for your shotgun. The Mossberg and Maverick 88 require no adapters. The Remington/Norinco 98 and Winchester adapters are marked. Norinco 98 Model requires use of a 6x50mm Bolt that must be purchased.
STEP 4
Select the mounting bolt supplied for your shotgun.
STEP 5
Place the bolt, with supplied washer, through the back of the grip and adapter (if used) and secure to the shotgun receiver by tightening the bolt.
STEP 6
Insert adapter tube into rear of pistol grip. Align the predrilled holes in the side of the grip with those in the tube. Secure with (2) #6x5/8” screws.
STEP 7
Place adapter tube plug over the open end of the SHOTFORCE buttstock. Press to secure in place.
STEP 8
Buttpad will simply slip on.
